Vintage Hand Painted Floral Glass Decanter Ball Stopper
N/A
Such a pretty vintage find! This hand-painted glass decanter has a round globe-shaped body covered in sweet enamel wildflowers, including edelweiss, blue gentian, red poppies, and yellow bellflowers, with coral-red painted bands at the neck, foot, and stopper. Likely Bohemian or Central European, circa 1950s to 1960s. The Alpine folk-art painting style and vivid colors make this a lovely decorative or display piece for a bar cart, vanity, or collector’s shelf. Comes with its original matching ball stopper. Condition: Good vintage condition. The original stopper is present and fits well. Some expected paint wear and light rubbing to the enamel bands and neck from age and use. No chips or cracks. Please see all photos as part of the description. Era: 1950s to 1960s Glass: Clear blown glass Origin: Likely Bohemian / Central European No maker’s mark (hand-painted numbers on stopper and base, typical of hand-decorated glass) Sold as-is and packed with lots of care for safe shipping. Questions welcome, thanks for looking!
