Midway Uniform Cap Co Vintage Pilot Military Police Guard Hat Chicago Silver  Condition: No defects found. Clean inside and out. Size: 7 1/4  Desc: Black twill upper with a band of black velvet between the upper and the brim. There's a decorative strip in silver across the front part of the velvet band. It's lined with what looks and feels like a black plastic and there's a card holder feature in clear plastic built into the lining. There's a brown vented band inside with a piece of plastic foam going around the inside to maintain the shape.  Similar hats are described as being for pilots, the military, the police, and security guards. Not sure what this one was actually designed for.
