What a different vintage bag by Magid! I am modeling this beauty with a red and black outfit which I think works very well with the bag! It is in beautiful condition! And, it can fit your cell phone! It measures 9 wide by 5 by 1 deep. It is made from a metallic fabric and has rhinestone and pearl beading in the front. The back side is just the fabric. The inside has a pretty ivory satin fabric. There is a side pocket on one side and two smaller pockets on the other. Not familiar with Madig, here is what I pulled from The Bag Lady website: A. I. Magid Co. moved to 30 E. 33 St. in 1937 and became Magid Handbags around 1938/39. The sign says, Over 50 Years of Continuous Service, which should mean that it was painted in the 1950s.
