Description
This is a stunning piece by the NE Glass Company (New England Glass Company) Boston. It is an antique salt dip cellar from the Lacy Period made between 1820-1850. This is a rare gem to find. I did an estate buy out of an entire collection of salt cellars and I believe this is the oldest in the bunch. On the front and back it has a basket of flowers I believe and on the 2 ends it has an open flower and bud with stems and leaves. It is not perfect, as it does has a scratch or line crack in the glass on the back side, this one I can feel. On the same side it does have cracking inside the glass. Everything is shown in the photos. For its age, it is a beautiful testament to how well things were made back then. Thank you for shopping with Dream Chasers Warehouse!
